Wanted: For php, mysql project completion...

Post by mikebr »

Programmer needed to complete a small unfinished project 'for payment'.

Expertise in php, mysql and mathematics along with some experience in jpgraph would be useful.

The basics/engine of the application has already been written although there are a few small but important additional aspects that need to be completed. At this stage I am looking for someone to take the application through to its final stage of completion.
This will involve the addition of some options not yet implemented such as:

# A script for member signup and login.
# An admin area/page for internal use to add various information to the database manually.
# A member area/page for users to edit their details and/or preferences.

along with...

# Parsing files to populate the mysql database.
# An updating script to post specific HTTP data to the database on a 3, 6 or 12 monthly cycle.
# Documentation.

A good knowledge of how the solar system works 'Heavenly mathematics / solar physics' would be of an advantage.

Visual end of day updates on progress will be expected.

This is a small but interesting project that should not take the right person very long to complete.

In principal I would expect to make payment in three stages, a small deposit at the outset, a secondary payment after positive progress has been seen, then the final payment on completion, this can be confirmed relative to the price and time schedule. Availability ASAP.

If interested then let me know about yourself, examples of work etc.
Applicants should be reliable and know the importance of communication.

Can you provide a little more information?

Who owns this website?(a company, teacher, person, family)
Is there anything currently public on the parts of the site that are done?

That will give interested programmers a better feel for what they are applying for. It will also make it so you get less repeated questions sent to you :D

The website is owned by myself.

If anyone thinks they might be interested then 'PM' me and I will set up a url for them to take a look at it in it's current state. It is basically a web application that plots the suns path to a graph. The engine has been built 'which might be a down side to someone who may be interested' although I still haven't had the time to throughly test it as yet.
