Hello Toronto reader,
I am working for a company that is looking into encorporating a CRM with various features and blah blah blah. They are looking to outsource the entire project for the immediacy (they are looking to have it start rolling in the New Year). My complaints with total package outsourcing is this:
A) They have a warranty that is generally unflexible, and requires you rely on the for all future programming... which is usually not so instant.
B) I'm pretty certain that I could collabourate with someone who has a better understanding of sorting and make it work just fine.
The idea is to make a database of names who's input come both from Excell spreadsheet and stardard input form; sharing the same fields.
From this database, make a simple interface that you can filter results. say, by Job Title, City, and Postal Code or perhaps Date of Registeration, and so on.
This is an outfit that will be expanding quite rapidly and will require that I have a senior programmer to work with on stuff.
