ISO PHP developer in the US, prefferably in New England

Post by flashmod »

Hello,
My name is Rob, and I am the owner/lead developer for a new website nearing it's launch. Our former PHP Programmer was a bit on the whiney side, and spent too much valuable time saying the world most ridiculous words "It Can't Be Done"

If you do not believe in these words, and you are looking for some development work, please let me know ASAP. There is only 1 position right now, and we need a good match.

Can you:

-Work with PHP and flash together (you need not know flash, just how to communicate with it.. easy stuff)

-Work with one other person on the phone (me) to integrate the two technologies, and get it working perfectly. (Our phone bill of course!)

-Make things the right way the first time, or close to it

-Never utter the words "it can't be done"

If you are the man/woman.. send along an email with some personal info, location, experience, rates, and a good time to catch you for a phone interview (must give your phone number) to rob@flashmod.com, !

This has extremely good long term potential, as we are constantly developing new products using PHP, MYSQL, Flash and more. We'll keep you busy, for sure!

Can't wait to hear from you!!

Rob

Wish I was available. :)

I just wanted to comment on something you posted. I think the motto of "Never say 'it can't be done'" is absolutly perfect in the world of programming and design. Recently I've been tasked with two corporate coding projects, and while we were going over the outlines I kept getting asked "can we do this.. can we do that.. is it possible.... etc.." and I kept having to repeat myself, 'in the world of code, nothing is impossible. It's all a matter of work.'

I applaude your point of view and I hope you find a good coder to help you out.
