2-3+ years developer experience
We are currently looking for 1-2 top candidates to help define our small but agile development team. On-site roles are defined below. We'll post sideshow projects as the need arises. Candidates must be authorized to work in the USA.
LAMP (Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP4+) Minimum Requirement.
Must have experience in e-commerce storefronts, online payment, content management, web services for crm/b2b, graphics processing, registration forms, custom intranet applications, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be comfortable working in Linux/BSD/OSX environments
• Developing website functionality
• Data Modeling and database development
• Writing technical specifications as required to achieve the objectives of functional requirements
• Clearly present ideas and logic both technical and non-technical for clients
• Providing time estimates on the development of applications
• Perform quality control and testing of all development phases
• Collaborate with managing director to grow the dev team
• Work with project manager and designers to develop group standards and code standards
• Mentor application developers
• Lead group in technical design
• Problem Solving and Brainstormer of ideas a must
TECHNICAL SPECIFICS:
• Fluent in PHP4/5 with daily use of mySQL4+; postgresql or any other RDBMS preferred
• Flash/Actionscript a big plus
• Javascript, CSS2+, DOM, WAP, AJAX, AFLAX
• applications based in XML/XSLT, SOAP, RDF
• cvs version control
• Respect for open standards, current design patterns (OO/AOP, MVC) and planning and documentation
• Willingness to get hands dirty with debugging and support issues.
