Social networking is heating up - MySpace was acquired for $580 M and Facebook is on the block for $ 2 B (Businessweek).
We have created a social network for parents. There are 70M+ parents with children under 18 y.o. in the U.S. – and they spend $ 275 B annually on their children.
Our network has parent users from 35+ states across the country and we are scaling up our engineering and marketing efforts.
The position is for an engineering team leader based out of Silicon Valley CA. Initial compensation will be in the form of equity stake. Cash compensation will be triggered by a funding event that is expected shortly. This is an excellent entrepreneurial opportunity which will allow you to get in early and add value to an operating team, with a product and significant user traction.
Following is a high-level requirement:
* Lead development team in India
* Hands-on architecting, development, code release, testing for roadmap features
* Proficient with PHP, Java, AJAX
* Prior experience in development of large-scale, consumer web applications
