Hi all I am in need of some php trny scripting w/ auto advance brackets and byes for my .com gaming league site I would also be interested in an uploader so trny directors could use html and music files on trny pages that they could create. If anyone knows of somone capable of creating such scripts please have them email me at butcher999999@cox.net so myself or one of my co-owners could discuss costs. We are a free non profit site http://www.jammin4fun.com so don't have tons of cash to spend but we really need this scripting badly and hopefully can work something out....TYVM

Tournament Scripts

What we are looking for is a script that will work with the one we have now from mygamingladder.com. The way the script is written now the individual running the tournament has to place each player in the bracket and figure out how many byes in that round and where they should go. This is not the optmal way to run tournaments. What we want is when you go to run the tournament all players are placed in the appropriate brackets with byes in place already. It would be best if we could get a script that would run w/the current script we have but would also consider one that worked independently of the script we have now. What this script should do is ask how many players are in or what bracket numbers we want to use 4/8/16/32 etc and figure out from that with how many players in where players fit into the brackets in the first round and where the byes go. Players should be placed randomly in the trny. Then the person running the trny should be able to click on the name of the winner or loser to advance the winner to the next round of the tournament, and so on until there is a winner of the tournament.

As far as the html portion what we have is a part in the script a text area where we can put in rules and details for a particular tournament. What we would like to be able to do in this field is use html to display a web page when a person clicks on the details which is located on the main page. This is not really a necesity but something that the tourney directors like to do to make their tourneys special and stand out a little from everyone elses. This would also give them the ability to use music on thier pages for even more effect.

There are some other things we would like done on the site also but would like to start with these and go from there.
