We've been growing more and more, and are now in the hunt for another team member at colo-cation.com

We need someone who has skills and knowledge in Linux (specifically Debian/GNU Linux) command line systems administration, MySQL, php, perl, python experience is a plus. Should be well familiar with Linux command line (no CPanel stuff here. pure CLI) and should be familiar with Apache server (Familiarity with Caudium, AOLServer, a definite plus, familiarity with W2K and Windows Media Server also a plus)

Needs to be within 30 minute drive of downtown Miami, Florida.. so, I guess its only the Florida geeks, or those looking for an excuse to move to sunny South Florida (Hurricanes? Bah! )

Anyhow, anyone interested (SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY! - This is a full time, long term job, good salary and benefits)

and MUST be within 30 minutes drive of downtown Miami, Florida.

but if interested, go here:

Might have something to do with that. FWIW, SurfControl flags it as a "Hosting Site" and denies access too, but being administrator has certain privileges. 8O

Yeah I guess the word "Adult" might trigger some filters.. didnt realize "Hosting" would get flagged though ? seems odd ..

Anyhow, yes we do work with some adult sites, however 98% of all the work I do is command line in a text terminal over SSH, and being that our workload is very high (which is why we're looking for more help) , there's very litlle if any time for leisurely "peeking" of any sort anyways..

either way, if you are goood at command line linux , and familiar with dealing with apache/php/perl/mysql and debian packaging situations , that's what we're looking for..

I didnt have much hope of finding someone in the local Miami area on this board with interest, but posted anyhow on the off chance :)

ah well..

:)
