[PARTNER] Back end partner wanted

Post by keress »

I do front end design and dabble with the back end, but would probably be more profitable if I left the back end alone. I'd like to find someone to partner with who would take care of this side of my client's needs. It's not extensive at this point, don't have a specific project at the moment, but would like to open the dialogue so to be ready when one arises.

I've worked with OsCommerce shopping carts, am good at transforming the look to pretty much anything a client's site requires. I can make simple revisions with "contributions" from the OsC community, but can get hopelessly lost when things go awry. In other words, I'm good at interfacing with dynamic pages and making them look and feel good. I'm becoming well versed with CSS, and also understand how to write pages so that necessary search engine information is embedded on a number of levels.

I'd like to look at using php to compartmentalize some sites with complicated navigation structures. I'm transitioning into accessability standards and working to keep up with the latest thought on usability standards

Conversely, I can offer attractive, effective front end design to anyone hoping to expand their scope.

My site is at http://www.lkcwebdesign.com

This is for remote work from home I assume? Paid on a project-by-project basis.

FYI: The image on your front page is 179.65KB... might wanna drop the PNG and go for a JPG ;)

Yes, the work would not be done on site. You would bid your part of a project and bill the client yourself. Something like that.

Thanks for the tip about the image. I must have uploaded the wrong one.
