We are an international publishing organization and have immediate openings for CSS/PHP/MySQL experts that can develop and deploy web based business applications within a rapid application development environment. You must be able to build web applications from the ground up, as well as modify and build on existing code. We want a CSS “wizard” (http://www.csszengarden.com) that can create anything from new page wire frames to creative visual designs based on internal requirements and creative briefs.
We will give special consideration to those candidates that also have a working knowledge of J2EE, XML, XSLT, and AJAX.

[+] JOB REQUIREMENTS (and preferences where indicated):
Education/Experience: BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Successful candidates will possess a minimum of 5 years experience in software/web development using technologies that include PHP, mySQL, CSS, JavaScript. Candidates must have experience in full software development life cycle requirements gathering through deployment.
Required Skills: PHP, CSS, MySQL, DHTML, JavaScript
“Nice to Have” Skills: AJAX, Flash and ActionScript, open source frameworks such as Qcodo, Zend, or Cake; J2EE fundamentals, including JSP, Servlets, JDBC, Hibernate, Struts, JSF, Spring, etc.; application servers, including JBoss, ATG, etc.; Portal (JSR 168) technology, including JBoss, Liferay, etc.; XML, XSLT, XSD; alternate scripting languages such as Perl or Python; experience with software design, project management, and implementation tools, such as Rational Rose, ANT, JUNIT, HTTP Unit, and JMeter, CVS, IDE’s, etc.
General: Carrying and responding promptly to a cell phone is required. Able to work well as a member of a team. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical/problem solving skills with excellent communication skills.
