[Job] Experienced php, mySQL dev needed ASAP (online)

We need someone to complete a website that's
half-finished. It's a custom site (no forms) and
requires secure login, php, mySQL, and css -- pretty
standard stuff. However, the schedule is aggressive
(our original deadline was 15 December) and we need to
wrap up as soon as possible.
Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you.

budget?
It would help if you posted according to our posting guidelines, which is a sticky in this forum.

Thanks for the reply, Luke. Do you have an online portfolio of sites you've created that I can check out?

Hello,
I am writing to apply for the Freelance PHP Programmer. I have seen your posting on forums.devnetwork.net.
I have a degree in M.Sc.Information Science from ISTAR, V.V.Nagar, INDIA.
As a lead programmer I am working with SOFTWARE COMPANY in Baroda, Gujarat, INDIA. I have become particularly interested in PHP and now wish to develop my career in that direction.
I would welcome the chance to work as part of a small, dynamic team where I could make a significant contribution while developing my skills yet further.
You can see my work here:

I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,

That budget is pretty low if you want quality work.
Also, your web server doesn't seem to work.

Well considering I do mostly php work and not design, I don't have much to show you (it's all backend password-protected systems), but contact me and I'll see what I can come up with for you. I can assure you though that I am more than qualified.

I'll back up that statement - Luke writes some solid code. I'd hire him in an instant if I ever needed help.

Thanks to everyone who replied. We received many responses from very qualified programmers, and have only now finished getting back to those who responded (hope I didn't miss anybody).
We have successfully filled the position, and appreciate the recommendations and advice we received over the past two weeks from this forum. Very impressive.
Thanks again,
Susan
