Deep is a design agency at Waterloo overlooking the London Eye and is expanding again. We are looking for a web developer to join our team. Reporting to a team leader who oversees web based projects.
Deep is a multidiscipline design agency that covers all areas from corporate branding projects to single web-site development projects, we develop sites using LAMP and have also developed our own in-house CMS and code base that is very extensive and is all object orientated.
What we are looking for;
A developer, that has extensive knowledge of a LAMP based environment - that is trained using object orientated programming skills. That has a proven track record in corporate sites / agency work and can work in team. You must have good communication skills both with your team members as well as the rest of our staff. We really want somebody that wants to stay and grow with the business - you'll have plenty of opportunities to add to the business.
Type of projects;
This can range from completely new sites that need full project management (via our senior staff) that have many functional apps integrated, some come from our existing code base others are coded from scratch or we may tie in some third party software. Or it could be a simple template based site that has a simple CMS. We do like to push the technology if we can and it's reliable. A lot of our sites use a mix of technologies from an underlying LAMP base with a mixed front-end of CSS and Flash in XHTML, all our sites tie into our CMS.
