Hi,
I have a flash mp3 player script with a PHP/MySQL backend. It has an admin area where you can upload mp3s via a flash uploader and connects to paypal to sell and automatically deliver mp3s.
Here's my sales page that describes the script and has a live demo.
www (dot) websitemusicplayer (dot) com
My customers are experiencing a series of bugs with the script and I need to get them fixed.
I'm looking for someone with experience dealing with mp3 encoding.
Right now the script is independent of server side libraries and processes mp3s purely with php.
Flash/action script experience is a huge asset and will be needing flash improvement
on the flash mp3 player part of the script later on.
I'm also looking for someone who is available to work through issues with me and
be available through gmail chat of msn when needed
Some of the bugs I'm experiencing are:
- Error on logout. "headers already sent"
- Refreshing the playlist hangs on reload
- ID3 tags not showing in playlist
- Email field need to be added to customer contact form
- Order the playlist feature (have this feature working and need it added to the current version of the script I have)
- file not found on order page
I can give more details/demo through email if your interested.
Feel free to bid on the entire project or bid with an hourly rate and the approx time you think it will take
for you to get these issues fixed.
My time zone is PST ( GMT - 8 )
I have a lot of projects going on and I'm always looking for long term developers.
Thanks!
Dino

You want responses here on the board?
Those sound like generally easy fixes, but I don't know about how much time it'd take to do them. From the errors you are receiving, it sounds like it was poorly coded in the first place, and putting a band-aid on bad code isn't my style. I'd have to improve the whole thing and make everything communicate correctly (which would probably fix more errors than you even know of now) which usually takes about a week for me. Except, considering your website is already up, I'd have to first be told how everything currently works before changing things.
And yes, I am proficient in ActionScript 2.0 as well.
