Toronto, Canada PHP/MySQL Programmer, Full Time
Description:
PollStream is a self-funded and profitable software company whose clients include Fortune 500 companies across North America. In the past two years, we have seen unprecedented growth and are looking to expand our development team. You will be working with some of the best talent around with an excellent opportunity for growth and learning. You will be building innovative communication solutions that will be used by some of the most respected brands in Canada and the U.S. including: the Royal Bank of Canada, Manulife, Best Buy, HP, and eBay to name just a few. This is a highly challenging position as you will be required to play a pivotal role on the team.
Requirements
• 3+ years of PHP development
• 3+ years experience developing for a RDBMS
• Understanding of object oriented design, development
• Must have experience with full LAMP stack
• Experienced in using and integrating web presentation technologies (e.g. CSS, JavaScript, XML, Flash, AJAX)
• Knowledge and experience of design patterns would be a great plus
The candidate will help architect, develop & implement the software of our existing and future ASP applications.

This could be confused with a frustrating Microsoft alternative to PHP (Active Server Pages). To be clear: you develop in PHP, correct?
