Why dont any agents ever put the full details of the role? especially the salary?!!?!?!?!

We dont want to waste your time and you should not want to waste ours!

Developers should only contact you if we are all on the same page!

All the other developer positions Spencer Rose are advertising are around the £30k mark so I imagine it's in a similar ballpark.

You could always phone him up and ask.

Not now obviously. I don't think he'd appreciate that.

Wont waste my time, if the agent has not put the salary on the job post, there is usually a reason - the pay sucks! Otherwise they would want to promote the role with a good salary. :)

Fair enough... that's not really been my experience in the past though. I've found the advertised pay is rarely much indication what the company will go up to anyway - I've applied for jobs advertised at a rate far higher than the actual rate, and applied for jobs where the advertised rate is much lower than what I've been offered after the interview... I wouldn't let the lack of a salary expectation in the ad put me off if I wanted a new gig. In general a company will find the money you're after if they think you're worth it.

Hi, Mark Rees here again. I'm recruiting for 3 PHP Developers. They are fairly junior paying up to £35k All for a leading energy and climate change organisation. To answer your question why we don't mention specific details - We are specifically asked by our clients not to give company name and salary away when advertising roles as they will then get a million other recruitment agents calling them asking if they can work on the roles. If anyone is interested in the permanent roles then let me know. I'm also looking for a Senior PHP developer to be based up in Scotland paying around £40k. My contact details 02089955500. Hope that helps? I'm only trying to help you guys get a job........

The fact you can't read isn't a very good advert for your business. This thread is about a company looking to recruit some staff, not asking for a design company to make a pitch. You're bordering on spamming here...
