2009 Award results

Postby pickle » Fri Jul 17, 2009 10:45 am

Hi everyone,

The second round of voting has closed & we still have a tie. Since this isn't a national election, I think three rounds of voting is a bit overkill. The winner list below has been updated along with the graphics the winners can use.

Fastest Advancing Newcomer: tasairis
Best Avatar: weirdan
Best Signature: I recuse myself (but I think Pickle's is great!)

But I'm really disappointed in the low voter turnout. It's like a mid-term election in Wyoming, or something.

I'd like to vote (for myself ) but I don't really hang around long enough to pay attention. Mostly I just come in, look for stuff to reply to, post, and go back to being distracted with other things.

Between the two of you for Best Signature... pickle. Sorry califdon but I like pickle's argument versus parameter thing.

Ooo.. I won! Cheers everyone, and congrats to everyone else who won.
How I Help Here: If it's obvious you're not bothered about your problem (eg you don't post any code, you've not got any error messages) then I won't bother helping very much. If you make it clear you care and you're trying your best (eg you post code in [php] tags, you've tried a few different fixes already) I'll do my best to help you.

Ditto.

I didn't even get honorable mention :( (though I can't imagine what I would get it for)

See, that's why you gotta start your campaign now for next year! Organize your fundraising, etc. :drunk:
