Why a PHP - Advanced forum?

Because I wanted it. Simply put, I am more a forum guy then a mailing list guy. But at present, there wasn't a forum I felt I could use for my more advanced programming, or theory. And then it dawned on me, The PHPDN Forums are there, and while the PHP forum itself didn't seem like the right place for some of the things I wanted to discuss, a more advanced forum that was basically geared towards theory of application design and what not would be suitable.
In the past, people were asked for this, and I would tell them their was no need. Well, today I found a need. Rather than stick more advanced topics in the fast runway of the PHP forum, they can be put here, a place that will be relatively free of "how-to's" and "my script isn't working" posts. There isn't anything wrong with those posts, execpt that they are different from "This objects design" or "theorizing on an applications setup".
Hopefully, this additional forum will provide that niche. I don't susepect it will get as much traffic as PHP - Normal will, but hopefully, it will be just as useful.
