I would like to hear about what you think of future of PHP ? Will be PHP's position taken by rails or .net?
For me there seems to be some revolutionary ideas which makes languages more extended and used. Like creating the patterns by GoF and then it began MVC, which has conquered most of Web. There are like hundreds of frameworks which mostly have same features. But we need to move on. What would be the next big step?(if anyone guesses it right, I'll send a beer). :drunk:

MVC hasn't even come close to conquering "most of the web".

I could answer a question like that better if you bought a few rounds of beer first.
