I'm looking for an open source ODBMS for a college project. Just want to see what other people's opinions are if they have any experience with any of them. I will be using Java mostly so it must be compatible with that. :) Look forward to any suggestions.

I saw this blog recently about how they are moving Digg from MySQL to Cassandra.

Cool. Thanks for the reply. It looks like it's a distributed RDBMS, which is cool, but not exactly what I'm looking for. I will be adding it to the list though because it would be something new to work with. :) Thanks again.

Any other Object database suggestions?
