where/how to update the mysql client?

where/how to update the mysql client?

I'd figure this to be obvious and mabey it is and i'm just overlooking but i can't figure out where to get it.
I'm not at my own pc so i can't try stuff out on the spot.

Please help so i can grab it, go home and continue with some real stuff.

yes i did, i can't find it there. only included with the database, but i got that one and i have promblems with it.

What sort of problems?

By any chance are you seeing a "Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client" message?
