Configuring my.ini/my.cnf file on godaddy.

Post by JellyFish »

Hey, would anyone know if there's a way to configure the my.ini or my.cnf configuration file on a godaddy shared server? I'm looking to change the ft_min_word_len directive, but sense my hosting is shared I don't know if it's possible or not.

If anyone has experience with godaddy's hosting please let me know if I can configure certain MySQL settings.

Thanks for reading.

My guess is no, since the databases run on seperate servers and are shared among many users. Just give them a call to verify.
