I've been coding in C++ and VB6 for about two years now, and only just now started learning PHP because I was given the task of updating my company's website. I'm really loving the language, and its similarities to C have made the learning curve a lot easier for me. I've been reading lots in this forum lately, and I must say I've come across lots of great info and techniques!

I'm really loving this place. :D

I'm going to reiterate that I wish that the forums were split into two levels, a newbie land and an advanced section.

Although it may prevent newbies from being exposed to the more complicated aspects of php, it prevents veterans from reading the usual newbie questions [which is a good thing].

It's nice every once in a while to sort through interesting/new questions, and when you need to wade through pages and pages of simple questions, its annoying.

Hey Todd, was your post for this thread? I know there is a discussion right now on a newbies forum.
