Hmm, another award that ~feyd would win :). I'm jumping the gun a bit, but might I suggest we have 1 award be "Most outstanding guru of all things" and give that to ~feyd so other people have a chance in some of these other categories . :D
Real programmers don't comment their code. If it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand.

"THE GRAND FOOBAR" Award/Title - The most knowledgeable PHP Coder...
...nor me...

But seriously, this wont happen ever. There is no way to find out who is the better. I'm amazed at the knowledge some people have here, but I wouldn't be able to tell the most knowledge of them...

"Most helpful" is better. But that could aswell be renamed as "TheOneThatNeedsToGetOutMoreOftenInsteadOfPressingF5RefreshingTheForum Person".
Oh, and hi feyd.

More seriously; I think the ideas are good.

Can we try to keep this on topic please. We'll need to go through this thread and get the results so it'd be a big help if we don't start going off on a random ramble :)

Eh, really the idea for "Grand FooBar" was for a phpdn "King of the Hill" type of award. The individual may not "be the best" at coding but would for sure be a recognized as having superior php knowledge/experience as well as having all the other great traits - helpful, funny, etc.. etc..

Was that on topic?
