at the sake of sounding like a idiot, and trying not to go too far off topic, what is GD?

GD Library it's the thing that allows you to manipulate images and create them via PHP...

You really need to break down the categories into "most helpful" and "best response". Whilst everyone appreciates Feyd's and others work it would also be advantagous to award those people who have replied in manner which have solved things in a unique way and which would help others in future (when they can be bothered to search for the answer before posting that it). This award would not necessarily be made of those people who post a lot of answers, but the quality of a single answer.

No pun intended but i think we have more awards than regular participants ;)

And this supports my point: Everybody deserves an award.

Deadline for award-suggestions is 06 June 2005. After that the moderators and site admins will select the best 10 categories and aks for nominations then. So: only post categories, no names on this very thread.

mwwhahahahahahha I win them all. :P

Sounds fun. :D

I'd have to agree that any given user should only get one award... at this time.

Thanks for the suggestions, people. This part of the Community Awards is now finished, we're moving on to part II, i.e. the mods are voting on the top 10 award categories. We will come up with a definite list within the next couple of days. :)
