Google takes over PHPDN
In their effort to organise the world's information Google will take over PHPDN for an undisclosed amount. Larry Page, co-founder of Google, said in an email-interview "PHPDN has been on our acquisition wishlist for a long time. We're very excited to have them on board." The purpose of the acquisition, Page said, was to "build a very powerful, yet simple and fully automated FAQ generator - Google-style!"
PHPDN founder Jason Lotito, now a multimillionaire thanks to the takeover, commented: "I think it's a win-win situation for everyone. The synergy effects of the merger will most certainly be felt in the future."
The team of moderators on PHPDN have been celebrating since yesterday at an undisclosed location.

Finally. Maybe now we can get some threads without Feyd, and the moderators answering questions helpfully.
Was getting really tired of all the useful and helpful posts around here. With this change, at least some of the leet posting powers of the google groups interface will get added.
Cuz right now, searching for midget clown sex finds nothing on these forums. Not one post. Pitiful.

i really feel like im about to leave this forum, due to the fact that it is being almost commercialized and people becoming millionares. i thought this was open source and it was all sponsered or payed over donated by someone, little did i know that for $$$,$$$,$$$ someone would sell away such a forum like this.

This will be soo cool. gmail, gtalk and now gdev! Fully integrated probably, so while chatting with someone about a problem you're having you'll get an instant message with results from an ajaxified gFAQ search, including the location of the answering gDevNetworkMembers' location with googlemaps
Now I understand why it is/was so quiet today, all the mods are sleeping off their hangovers
