Another late poll due to the Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK.
Anyway, just a fun poll this weekend, see what peoples how people approach looking for the information they require.

Basically, phpBB has a crap search function...
I suppose that's overboard - it will return results but they need to be sorted by relevance.

How is this "Site News"? Seems more like General discussion to me.

The phpBB search feature is kinda limited. I am sure they will address this in Olympus (I hope they do anyway). I do use it, but the relevance of returned results is a little disappointing. So I usually do an Author search for 'Feyd'. He has already answered the questions I am thinking of asking next year, so I figure if I can read the answer before I need to ask them then that will make more room for questions that Feyd has already answered. Ahhh, it all works out in the end.

They haven't. Go to
the Olympus Development Website , make a user account and check. Still sorted by Date, author, or etc instead of relevance.

I thought area51 was the phpBB2 forum for discussion on the new phpBB? The implementation at area51 is still using phpBB2 (the current stable release).

Right. I was a bit confused myself by the last post.

The forums running at area51.phpbb.com is a (relatively) stable version of Olympus. Play around with it a bit and you will see it is nothing like phpBB2.
