Another late poll due to the Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK.

Anyway, just a fun poll this weekend, see what peoples how people approach looking for the information they require.

Basically, phpBB has a crap search function...;) I suppose that's overboard - it will return results but they need to be sorted by relevance.

The phpBB search feature is kinda limited. I am sure they will address this in Olympus (I hope they do anyway). I do use it, but the relevance of returned results is a little disappointing. So I usually do an Author search for 'Feyd'. He has already answered the questions I am thinking of asking next year, so I figure if I can read the answer before I need to ask them then that will make more room for questions that Feyd has already answered. Ahhh, it all works out in the end. :D

They haven't. Go to the Olympus Development Website, make a user account and check. Still sorted by Date, author, or etc instead of relevance.

I thought area51 was the phpBB2 forum for discussion on the new phpBB? The implementation at area51 is still using phpBB2 (the current stable release).

Right. I was a bit confused myself by the last post.

The forums running at area51.phpbb.com is a (relatively) stable version of Olympus. Play around with it a bit and you will see it is nothing like phpBB2.
