See, most of us posters in the USA would have chosen the Pittsburgh Steelers (or some NFL variant) to win a Football championship. Seeing as we have never seen an NFL team play in the world cup, we went with loyalty over actual knowledge of the other countries' soccer teams because we think the USA will win anything it is involved with. :)

I know, I know, arrogant Americans :roll: . Hey, tell me any other soccer fan wouldn't choose their country to win 8) .

Well... although I'm English, and live in Italy... I voted Brazil.

Can't see England doing it after the dreaful opener, Italy's squad is a bit lacking this year, and Brazil are just a f*$£ing awesome team.
