That is so funny. I hadn't even noticed that was an option.

Life Saver

Ok, not really Life Saver, but more like Job Saver.

It's not like my people would fire me since I'm the only real programmer we have here, but you guys sure have helped make my job a lot easier, and I've been glad to take in all of the knowledge you all have thrown at me.

Kudos to all of you!

this site is the only reason i was able to learn how to program PHP which is now my profession. I have said this statement before and I am sure that I will say it again but seriously, if it was not for this community I would be living on the street. Thanks guys for the "life saver"

It's not my home page... Google has that one ;) It is the first page I'll go to when I turn my computer on though. I always keep a DevNet window open.

Equally, like Shiz I learnt PHP on this board and now do it as a full-time career (I'm sure those who've been here for long enough can remember some of the n00b questions I was asking in March 04 ;)). Heh I still ask some now :P

/ Thinking about my beginning... in PHP that is

Weird thing was, I came here after searching google after I first discovered PHP. Asked a few stupid n00b questions, went back to developing, them months later came back and asked a few more n00b questions. Then there was a time at which I stopped asking so much and started answering a few. Then more. Then like everyday I was here looking for questions to answer rather than answers to questions. Not sure when that transition took place, but this place has become quite an obsession for me.

I try to contribute if I can, but my greatest flaw is my inability to properly express myself, so I generally am horrible at explaining things and asking questions. Luckily the people here are geniuses and can usually sort through all the garbage and understand my question/answer. This is the best place there is for all things web.
