I generally try to get to bed as early as possible, because I know it will really hurt me the next day. Otherwise, I simply wait things out. Around 11-12 I begin to get very sleepy, but afterwards, I'm alert and can work a few more hours if need be.

Lucky Strikes and black coffee.

I can't wake up without cigarettes.

Coffee! Its the thing which keeps me on go! Not only during late night work's but also during the day when i feel tired and worn out, a cup of coffee can bring back all the energy within me... mom keeps shouting that drinking more coffee is not good for health, but what to do...

Red wine.

Not too much, just keep me topped up to the exact right amount where you:

Achieve a kind of enlightenment
Dont start making offensive postings
Dont doze off

Coupled with Loud music, something throbbing, orb, underworld, faithless (or maybe some ub40..)

(And we get paid for this?)

When I was younger, I had the same thing with beer. After 2 pints I was fired up, witty, warm, I shed my social ineptitude and was no longer clumsy and dry-mouthed in the face of beautiful women.

God it was great. If only could have lasted....

The thing is at 2 and half pints I had fallen off the crest of the wave, and it was a roller coaster ride then down to, farting, burping, offensive obligatory swearing (which remains with me till this day) rolling glassy eyes, mouthing incomprehensive babble, inability to follow a conversation, then the inevitable curry/chinese stagger home, roomspin, vomit, snore.

So you get my drift? Wine is far more mellowing, and I can keep myself just inside that "comfort zone" without drifting off over the 2 and half pint zone. (unless I have a shot of Jack Daniels of course...)

Oh, this is my first postings, so - greetings people!

(I solemnly swear, I promise, promise, promise, NOT to get drunk and be offensive to people on the forum who cant be bothered using google, not like I did on the other one.... )
