I'm fortunate for the moment to live about 2 miles from work, so I come home and fix an egg white omelet (or scrambled with some salsa on top), fruit, whole grain bread, yogurt, etc. I'll have a burger or something fatty once a week, no more, and when I do I make sure it's worth it (Fatburger vs McDonalds, in other words).

@JC: have you tried the Salad King across the street? I've heard good things... Also, if there's a "fit for life" in the EC food court - try the chicken kabob dinner - very tasty, and enough food for 2 meals!
These days I've been eating a salad, a tuna/chicken/turkey salad sandwich and a pickle or two. I tend to eat the same thing for weeks.. don't know why.

I work above a 27km network of underground paths. I'm surrounded by office towers, each one having at least one food court. Within 5 minutes of walking underground, I can reach 5 different food courts.
Go downtown Toronto! Needless to say, I eat a lot of junk food. Speaking of that, it's lunchtime! (Look at time of post)
BTW, my Torontonian friends: what's the third largest mall in Canada?

I live about 1 minute walk from where I go to lectures so I usually come home and cook something. 90% of the time it consists of grilled chicken and something else. Can't beat a bit of chicken.
On a side note (completely OT), I just got my first web technology assignment result; I got 67%! Haha. I have emailed the tutor asking him to point out what happened to the other 33%, because honestly, I don't know where it went. His example solution doesn't even validate as XHTML or CSS whereas mine did.

Interesting. Tell us what you missed out when you find out. I remember my web development tutor teaching me the "correct" way to use the img tagI have emailed the tutor asking him to point out what happened to the other 33%, because honestly, I don't know where it went.

I go to the pub probably once a fortnight just to treat myself to a pint and a plate of hot food. There's a really nice pub called The Didsbury near where I work so if the sun's out we'll sometimes go and sit in the beer gardenMaugrim_The_Reaper wrote:I see there is at least one other person who goes to the pub for lunch. Bit surprised, are pub lunches really that rare?

I'm still in school... aye... but it goes like this.
First choice is the meal of the day. If I don't like it (today was mexican day
) I get a hamburger. I always get salad with italian white stuff... and a chocolate milk. Sometimes if they have buffal0 chicken pizza, I'll get that.
When I go to my next job, there's a Tim Horton's that I used to work at (lawl) and I assume I'll be buying sammiches there.
Aye.
