I need a experienced programmer...

Post by gaogier »

Hello

I am planning to reprogram my whole site... from top to bottom... I need help though...

I want to do 90% of the work myself, but, there are many things that I don't know about php... which is where you would come in...

I would need you to be able to check my code, fix errors, advise me on this and that...

I will be making things from an admin panel... to a filtered guides and everything in between, oh, we will also be making calcs, signatures, and much much more... which would need help with... I am a complete novice when it comes to php...

You can contact me via msn, AIM, Yahoo, or email...

If theres more people to help, the better...

Dose anyone know how to only show parts of a database, based on a user input?, I want it smooth, maybe ajax?

It needs to be like, the hide/show you see on sites, but each one needs to hide more and more...

For all things Javascript (or most, at least)... I highly recommend jQuery. It's a fantastic library that will help you achieve pretty phenomenal effects (please don't over-do it) with minimal effort, and makes AJAX a breeze. Plenty of plugins available too that are actively supported and developed that cover a wide variety of tasks.

See http://jquery.com/ for more info!
