An opportunity in the music business

Post by TallCat »

TallCat.com is currently searching for a programmer that wants to be a part of a .com startup in Phoenix. We are searching for a programmer that is willing to risk some time and talent in return for stock ownership of TallCat, Inc.

We are developing an innovative online music service for independent and professional musicians. The system is currently 85% complete and we are searching for a programmer to help us finish the remaining parts of the site. Up until now, the entire site has been self funded. In efforts to avoid giving banks or VC firms our business at this stage of the startup, we are seeking an individual that is willing to work for stock warrants and be a part of the board. Future salary will be discussed in person. The site has been in development for 10 months and is a large project. You can see a screen shot of the TallCat system by using this link.
This is just the homepage: http://www.tallcat.com/visuals/homepage.html

The founding members of TallCat currently own one of Arizona’s most popular recording / video studios and have been immersed in the music scene for over ten years. TallCat.com is a direct response to the years of frustrations we have had with current music services such as iTunes, MySpace, etc.

Here's what we are searching for:

1) A talented PHP programmer that has good working knowledge of Object Oriented PHP. Virtually the entire system is built using OOPHP.

2) A team player. We are a bunch of success driven, motivated entrepreneurs and are looking for an individual with similar traits. Team chemistry is very important to us. We win as a team, we lose as a team.

3) Someone who sees the bigger picture and is willing to work for stock. If you want to live the rest of your life working the 40hr /5d routine, this project probably isn't for you. The selected applicant will be required to prove their knowledge of OOPHP before stock warrants are issued. Salary will be issued when necessary funds are available.

If you have interest in being part of an exciting opportunity in a very poor economy, please email us your resume and any other materials you think that may help in our decision. Selected applicants will with meet with us one on one to discuss the mission of our company and more of what TallCat.com is all about.

QUICK NOTE - Please don't respond to this ad if you:
1) Are a web design firm.
2) Are an internet marketing firm.
3) Are a graphic design firm.
4) Are not willing to risk time and talent for stock ownership. This ad is for initial stock only compensation. If you are an individual looking for a full time paying job or a business looking for new clients, please do not respond to this ad. We are searching for entrepreneurial minded individuals.
