Hello,

WebIssues is an open source, multi-platform system for issue tracking and team collaboration. It consists of a server which requires PHP and a MySQL, PostgreSQL, Firebird or SQL Server database, and a native desktop client application for both Windows and Linux. The project has been actively developed for over four years, is used by many users and starts to be recognizable.

A few months ago I started working on a new version in which the server part will be completely rewritten. Now it will be integrated with a web administration panel and a web client which will be an alternative to the desktop client. I need a skilled PHP developer to help me, especially with the UI part. The code is being written in PHP5, using a simple object-oriented framework.

Experience with the MVC architecture, some web design skills and knowledge of SQL are welcome. This is a very interesting, long term project with prospect for commercial implementations in the future.

Visit http://webissues.mimec.org/ for more information about the project and http://wiki.mimec.org/wiki/WebIssues for technical details.
