Seeking Aviation Enthusiasts/PHP Developer for Partnership

Post by CoeyCoey »

Hello,

I have created an extensive Joomla website that took months for me to create and I ended up burning myself out and running into issues beyond my ability. I am seeking a partner in the U.S. who is an aviation enthusiast and Joomla/PHP expert to run the site. I will handle the advertising and marketing for the site, and we split the net profit 50/50. It might take a year or two, but it has the potential to make tens of thousands a month.

If this is of interest to you, please PM your PHP qualifications, and aviation experience.

Thanks!

C.J.

1. Wrong forum
2. I am a huge aviation enthusiast

The problem with your statement is: "Might take a year or two"

That doesn't sound appealing at all. I'm not investing any more than 6-9 months of my time without seeing any ROI. A couple months is to much, when the profit is only 50/50. Most serious/professional developers will not bother doing any work pro-bono without pay. Thats why 99% of successful projects are started by developers, not developer partners.

Sure looked like the right forum to me.

If you aren't interested, then no need to reply. I didn't ask for feedback, I only asked for people interested in what I propose.

Oh, and since you don't understand what pro-bono means, I will educate you.

"Pro bono publico (usually shortened to pro bono) is a phrase derived from Latin meaning "for the public good". The term is generally used to describe professional work undertaken voluntarily and without payment as a public service."

We reserve the job hunt forum for projects that have a budget, i.e., not "you might get some money 2 years down the road".

So yes, I did read your post.
