Looking for a certain script to help with Skate Park Locater

Post by joel »

Ok, I am making a web site at http://www.skateboardsnation.com and I am looking for a script that would be able to accomplish the following. I want the users to be able to select from a pull down list their state. From there I want the skate parks in there state to be listed. Possibly an easy admin panel. Any free scripts out there that could be modified to do this? Thanks for your help!!!

I put this message in the 'Project Help Wanted / Volunteed Work' to see if anyone had a few minutes to whip up such a program.

Yes. Thanks in advance! I have been looking for something that may function in a way to set up a park search, however I haven't had much luck.

I'll put together a basic text one when I get a spare half hour. I'll have to do some reading before I figure out how to put it in to drop down lists.

Awesome, I didn't expect anyone to offer their own time on this. Hey do you have a site that I can link to in order to hopefully help a little!

ps. obviously it's just a start, im just wondering if that's what u wanted.

Ya, thats the simple layout I am looking for. Just a pull down list that chooses the states. Skateboard.com has a skateboard park locator at http://skateboard.com/frontside/GetLoca ... efault.asp which is pretty complex, however I am looking for it to just have some simple info about either how to get to the skatepark, or a brief description area. However, that is the navigation I am searching for.

You could easily configure a cms to do this job. I was willing to do this, but lilpunkskater is on it.
