Installing RedHat

Post by Nay »

I didn't know where to put this, but here is what I need. I need someone who can help me step by step on AIM, MSN, ICQ or YIM for a couple of hours on installing Redhat 9.

What I want to do is:

- Format HDD
- Install Windows XP Professional
- Install Redhat 9
- Install Apache, PHP, MySQL on Redhat 9

Should this be the way to go? I just want to have a dual boot. My time zone is GMT +8:00, so this might also be an issue :(. If you're interested, please PM, mail or IM me.

Thanks,

-Nay

Yes this is a good way to go. If I can give you an advice, when you are installing RedHat, select advanced installation, so you can choose what to install. Do not install apache, php and MySql, install it manually after the installation. I always prefer these steps. I am in GMT -5  I can't help on the redhat part!

Good luck!
