Input on site wanted

Post by nigma »

Hey,

I have been working on a redesign of nigmanet and am wondering if some of you PHPDN members who have some older and less common browsers on their comps if you could test the site and tell me what kind of bugs in the layout you notice. Also, if you could provide some ideas on how to fix those bugs that would be great.

This is what the layout should look like: http://www.nigmanet.net/layouts/nigmanet2/test.jpg

This is where the actual layout can be found:

Thanks for any and all help / advice helped.

Nigma,

I like the layout alot, my only problem with it is the sections menu on the left side, the font doesn't appaear to match the rest of the site. I am not criticizing because well it's a very nice design, just letting you know my general feeling on the design.

Great Job.

It's nice, i don don t have an old browser, but i just wanted to add a point.. your design is cool but the rollover effect on the main menu isn't that nice ( said that as a constructive criticism :) ) you shouldn t put the line over the link.

Try something else (you can try a dot one the left side, or one on each side or just a subtile change of color..)

...Nice design btw 8)

Alright, thanks Draco_03 and Saethyr, apreciate it. I will check out the left side menu and see if the font face matches the rest of the site and will also look into other hover effects for the links.

I like the way it looks, might want to add a hover event to the sidebar elements.
