Game Devlopment Site - Need Help

Post by Exile Games »

Greetings all,
My name is Dan Bushman. I head a small indie-dev gaming studio called "Exile Games." Currently I am working on a project to help pull together some of the indie-dev communities members to pool resources. This project is called "roundtabledev" - for more information regarding the specifics of the site, check out the news post on the home page and the projects page of http://www.eg-games.com. There is also a link to a screenshot of the site design.

I am in dire need of someone to help script this site. The person who had started went MIA and the code along with him. If need be, I will compensate financially, otherwise compensation can be made in other forms. Please contact me via IM or e-mail for specifics. Also, if anyone knows someplace that would be better for me to post something like this, please let me know

Sincerely,
Dan Bushman

Basically, if need be, I will pay a lump sum up front and the rest upon completion. As far as how much that means, I would need to speak with people about what will be required to complete the project and let them quote it. That is generally the way most of these situations work. If anyone is interested, just let me know somehow and we can either chat, contact each other via email or by phone. In person as well if in the NYC area.

Basically, I would obviously prefer to figure out some sort of other arrangment instead of lump sum payments, as I am hosting this site as a free resource to indie game developers to help out the community of them as a whole, but I understand that it may be needed for me to make a financial sacrifice for this.
