I'm 16 and I am just now getting back into PHP. This sounds like a cool idea. We could start a community or whatever. Catch me on AIM at papercutm3 . I just set up one of my first PHP scripts on my site I bought the other day.
http://www.godsendisaster.com I setup CuteNews and it is working great.

I'm 12 years old and I've been using PHP for about a year. I'm currently working on making a text-based game called Kingdom of Dragons.
I can work with PHP, HTML, MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, and QBasic.
This sounds great. The link didn't work, though.

I'm 13 and I have just started coding an Internet Game called 'Homies For life' there is a topic in the Volunteer Section that explains the basics of the game. The topic is called INTERNET GAME. This is my first project, but I have already coded a login script, a code to imitate crimes and the ability to 'buy a house'. This probably won't make any sense until you read the topic.
So, it looks like I'm the youngest. I only started php about a month ago.
I'm looking for people to help code this game with me to speed up the process. 2 heads is better than 1, this would be an equal partnership.
(sorry If I'm spamming by 'plugging' my cause.)
Thanks

Back in those days you could find plenty of sites with assembler routines to speed up screen blitting etc.. Too bad they all seem to have disappeared :/

I'm 22 years old... You have a great idea and I hope it works well for you. Following on from the generous offer by hawleyjr I'll sort you out with reliable hosting (just shared onto one of my current plans with your own access, mysql and domain -> provided by hawleyjr) so long as you don't mind shared hosting. PM me when you get things sorted out unless you already have (or get offered) something better of course.
Good Luck!
EDIT | I think this would have been more appropriate to PM but has probably been read by a few people already

This sis a pretty good idea yoyu gys have a
starter project yet?
i thnki you should boost the age up to under 18 jsut becuase the numbers of people who start programming between 18 and 16 is about the same from 12 to 16 and it allows for perhaps you to spread into other catagories with people who took courses on algorythms and such programmming things
did the forum change its URL, becuase its not loading for me

How embarassing... Grr... Who's responsible for digging up this old thread?

i say we actually make one of these "young people" groups and elect a leader to lead us. i think everyone should post who they think should be the leader of the group and add up all the votes then whoever got the most votes will be the leader
