I am currently speccing up an online advert management system. It is going to be quite well featured and would take me a long time to complete on my own.

I am NOT offering any money for this project. I am aiming to set up a co-op that will jointly finish speccing / develop the project. My eventual goal is to market the software as an industry leading package (obviously if this were the case the proceeds would be split between the whole development team, and not just myself). I currently have a version of this software I developed 18 months ago that feeds content into other websites (their online stock lists) as well as optionally showing this content on the parent sites classifieds. This functionality will definitely be carried across.

A bit of background about myself:

* I am a freelance web designer / developer
* I have developed CMS systems
* I have extensive exposure to commercial / bespoke CMS systems
* I work with PHP/HTML/CSS/MYSQL
* I have 8 years commercial experience

My php is not brilliant, I am not to the level of writing classes so ideally someone who has superior PHP knowledge/experience than myself would be a bonus.

I will provide a couple of work examples so that it can be seen that I am am not a fly by night.

There is no minimum/maximum amount of people that could join this co-op. It's not designed to start life as a full time career. So saying that you will hopefully fall into most of the following criteria. I work about 25-35 hours a week on my freelance clients work and I will be developing the project in my spare time after this.

I envisage the project working on the basis that each member of the co-op nominates themselves to do a certain function / section of the development. There will be no moaning about how one person did 25 hours one week and another did 3. It will simply be a case of it takes you however long it takes you. It's supposed to be an interesting project and not a drive for commercial success.

After writing that I hope a couple of people at least are interested :)

I am on msn messenger - thefullyclothedchef@@hotmail.com - remove one of the @ signs obviously. Trying to stop the spam torrent.

Thanks for reading all that (if you did)!

EDIT: I will be posting this on multiple sites. I will put a list of all sites I have posted on below for reference.
