You picked the right project, I look forward to working with you all!
Unfortunately, sourceforge are keeping me on tenterhooks as they Still haven't approved my project. Although I am assuming they receive a lot of projects daily.
I am also going to be starting a blog very soon!
The project also has a codename!

don't get too slap happy yet, as nobody even knows what is going on. there are dozens of hosts that will be able to provide free php and mysql for testing plus many of your developers probably have space available as well. why not just get stuff started first then move on to your blog and whatnot

Hmm

Well, I'm going to make a blog and then brief everybody on the programming aspect of it all. I am also learning PHP and designing as I go along so it should be easy to correct any problems.

Good news everybody! the Sourceforge.net project has been approved!
You can check it out here:

If you could sign up here that would be excellent.
Hopefully we can see who's now part of the team! I welcome all those who are going to join and hopefully we can start work shortly. :P

Sourceforge is free to join. It just requires an email address.

Sourceforge provides a huge amount of collaboration software that makes it *easier* (not harder or more expensive) to work together on projects.

Also, once joining sourceforge, you have to let zapdude know that you'd like to join his project.

Rightio

I just have to figure out how to use the crappy sourceforge menu. I'm trying to set up some tasks pretty soon. I've worked more on the actual programming environment of the game rather than on the players! 8)

If you need help, don't hesitate to ask. I've used SF for years, and know my way around the menus.. I wouldn't call it crappy, but its definitely not user-friendly. :)
