Template

Post by shiznatix »

Hello,

I don't ask much but I have been tossing around a idea for a website for a while and I think I will go ahead with it. I have been writing my ideas down all day and getting ready to start the setup process. The only problem is that I am 100% terrible at design. Here is what I ask of anyone willing to read this:

I need a simple template that I can use on every page of the site. I just want a simple area for a header banner and left area where I can put in some html. The left side should have a solid background color and have it easy so I can add in some small html links and whatnot. The right side would be simmilar to the left but I don't think I want a background color there and I am perdy sure that the right side will be used for some small advertisments. The center section will be the main content section so it should be easy for me to add in lots of html to there without problems.

I am going to be using a class to create all of my HTML variables then I am going to just make a instance of that class and throw those variables (which just contain HTML) into the sections on the template, this way I can change templates easily and just put the same content on the new template if need be. It will also be very useful if I make a small design change because I will always use the same template so if I change 1 little thing it changes on the entire site.

Basically I just need a solid, empty, easy to use template. If anyone is willing to help me out with this I would be very happy. I can not pay anyone now because I don't have any money. I don't need anything fancy, easy to throw in my variables without breaking the template is the most important, the rest is just basically solid background colors.

If you are willing to help me out or maybe know of a free, already existing template that I can use then please, let me know.

Thanks for your time,

Go to Client Side and look at the CSS links.

The ones offered by BlueRobot are nice, and you can easily change the colours.

You know what? I used to hate the fact that noone seemed willing to give away templates for free without putting tons of banners or copyrights on them.

If you want to i you can have one of my old templates for free. No ads, no banners, no linkback, no copyright, no nothing.

Completely free. :)

If you want to i'll even throw in a PHP include system to make it all easier on you! And if you're not familiar with include i'll make a readme file!

PM me if you're interrested and i'll throw some templates on a test server so you can check them out :)
