Looking for PHP/MySQL Developers to work on 4fg site(s)

Hi

I've developed a suite of websites at http://www.4fg.org that provide free services for buying/selling vehicles, books and property, posting jobs and courses. I've recently added an auction sub-site that althoughs users to buy and sell goods, in a similar way to eBay. I'm currently working on a "shops" site, which will enable retailers to advertise and sell their goods and be linked to the auction site.

The basic idea is that online services such as eBay, Amazon's used books, estate agents, etc are ripping the public off. We've had Open Source software for sometime now but few free services websites. Feel free to check out the 4fg sites and see what you think.

At present, the 4fg sites are just for the UK but my intention has always been to make them global.

Thus, if you are interested in generating a US, NZ, ... version of a 4fg site then I'd like to hear from you. Alternatively, you may have your own ideas for creating another site based in the UK or other country.

Cheers and thanks for your support.

Graham

PS. The sites are written in PHP and use MySQL to store data. There's bits of Java Applets and JavaScript here and there but the code is predominantly php.

What exactly do you need help in?

Hi

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I don't suppose I'm requesting for help with anything specific. More, if an interested party believes in the 4fg concept and is keen to run with developing, say, a 4fg-auction-us site or has thir own site idea(s).

It's probably a good idea to checkout the sites and see if it's grabs you or whether you think "Nah, it will never catch on!".

Thanks again.
