hey i have a really stupid problem.
ive tried several tools to create a live usb key with ubuntu server. but when i try to run linux it tells me "could not find kernel: \casper\vmlinuz" or whatever
well the directory casper doesn't exist. why? don't know, don't care. ive read that people get this error when trying to live boot from a usb with certain motherboards. okay, i can believe that. except this machine used to dual boot ubuntu and xp pro. i dont really see the motherboard being the problem.
