i have the 3 cds burnt, with the ISO files extracted in them, so there are no ISO files, and now the installation asks me for ISO 9660 files.. !@%$

how is the real process of installation? do i need to have the .iso files or do i need to extract them? i have the second option in cds, i hope i didn't make that big waste

thnx in advance

which iso images did you take (distribution and iso location)?
You don't have to extract those images yourself. Tell your cd-writer application you want to burn a cd from an image-file. It should take care of the remaining process. (which application do you use?)
After buring them you usually have (at least) one bootable cd. Having it in your cd-rom during startup it boots an initial linux-system to setup the "real" system

You probably just burned the .iso's to the cd - common mistake :P

You need to actually burn the image to the cd to make it bootable :)
Then just set your BIOS to boot from CDROM and you're away 8)
