pgp in linux

hie i am jerome,

i am actually working on a project about email security where im suppose to implement PGP as the security part.I've completed the send and retrieve part but now i am having problem on the security part since i don't know how am i suppose to link the PGP in order to secure the mail.how about the key rings.
i have this problem installing PGP into my linux, how am i suppose to install it,i need a step by step guide.i hope someone out there can help me out in this problem.thanks a lot.

Did you install a source or rpm package? And what kind of linux are you running

Take a look into GNUPG instead. I'm not sure how you are wanting to make use of it, but it is the way to go to use PGP on Linux.
