I didn't have Java2 installed before so I downloaded it from Sun and then tried the blackdown SDK version but both have the same error. Is there a straightforward resolution to this?

Thanks :-)

Why don't you give something like "gtk-gnutella" a try? That's what I use in Linux...

Thanks, I didn't really know any others. Managed to get an rpm of limewire but it's ad-packed if you don't pay for it and it's search method is gay. I'll give gtk-gnutella a try. How does it comapre to the win32 program kazaa? I'd like something that keeps checking for new sources like kazaa-lite.

Thanks for the advice :-)
