Whether you are using Linux on the desktop or as a server, it's still good that you're using Linux. Linux related questions go here.

Good Linux FTP Client

Post by Benjamin »

Can anyone recommend a good Linux FTP client? I have been using Gftp but it crashes when retreiving large directory listings and I'm not too happy with it's features.

If you are using KDE. Just type ftp:// or sftp:// in your address bar. :)

FireFTP for mozilla firefox ;) That way you casn use it in windows and linux and not have to learn your way around yet another ftp client.

Personally I prefer to use lufis to mount the actual ftp server to a local directory and use it as if it's a part of my normal filesystem :)
