I'm trying to set up Fedora Core 4 on my new system, but It couldn't detect a mouse. I could go through the installation without a mouse but I really want the mouse working :P

It asks me to choose the type of mouse I have... but I don't know what to select.

It's an HP mouse (not in the list). It has 2 buttons and a middle wheel.
My system information says:

Anyone know what type of mouse this would be?

imps/2 but that's straight from the heart (haven't configured a mouse since ages) so you might want to double check that ;)

I believe it's a MicroSoft IntelliMouse PS/2 by reading the descriptions.

However using the anaconda bootloader I don't have the choice to configure it like that page says (unless I use text mode, haven't tried that yet)

I'll figure it out. Thanks for the heads up.

Well, i have a simply (compaq) mouse with two buttons and a scrollwheel.. And it works overhere ;)

I do remember that there used to be a time that not all applications were configured to actually make use the wheel...
