Any ideas why Alt+E doesn't work in Firefox on a *nix based systems? I didn't check any *nix system, but I did test it on 3.
P.S For those who don't know, in Windows it takes you to the search bar

I was confused as well because I removed that search field long time ago and since then was using search shortcuts in the address bar. But yes, Ctrl+E indeed switches focus to the search field if the field is shown.
