How can I uninstall apache to install IIS?

Assuming your using windows, just uninstall it. You don't have to uninstall Apache to use IIS, though.

Why would get the rid of apache to isntall IIS??

Because maybe the person want's to make sure his PHP program works well with IIS. Or maybe he's making a PHP program that does something with IIS. While I would never use IIS, there are companies out there that rely on it. People that know IIS will get jobs with these companies. Knowing Apache isn't going to get me that job.
